Stockeld Park is one of the most magical places you could hope to visit-and being on our doorstep makes us doubly lucky!
We adore all the seasonal adventures featured at this estate and last night was no different.
Snuggled up in my Mum’s vintage 40s coat (which I’ve borrowed forever by the way Mum), we had the chance to take pleasure in a glass of Prosecco or two and the kids, fish and chips as we were able to sample a taste of what’s to come there for Halloween and Christmas.
And you’re all in for a treat!

Taking my best pal Rebecca, her spouse Oli and their kids along with us, we took pleasure in every single minute of this spectacular pre-opening night event.
We strolled through the Enchanted Forest, an illuminated haven bursting with spectacular sculptures and interactive activities along its meandering path plus four adventure playgrounds within.
Christmas decoration goals ideal there!

…Opening today and in time for Halloween, witches will be on hand telling scary stories by day and kids can climb, spin and zip through the sky in Stockeld’s incredibly new play area, ‘The Spider’s Lair’ our kids adored!
Wee!
This amazing spider’s web lair houses tunnels, climbing nets, tunnels, jungle bridges, zip wires and slides, keeping the kids entertained for hours. literally hours. Yay!
The pièce de résistance however, for me at least, had to be ‘the nearly made me cry it was so stunning’ lake which features a multi-coloured light display in the water and a pretty mermaid in its centre.
Close by, lit deer, flamingos and penguins twinkled in the dark, making for four wide-eyed little boys- and we parents too!
Wow! What a treat for us all- and on a school night too.
